Privacy
Short version: no accounts, no tracking pixels, no advertising, no selling anything to anyone. We keep the minimum needed to run the service.
What we store
- Questions you ask, along with the channel and a timestamp. These are reviewed to improve retrieval and to see what people want that we can't yet answer.
- Your IP address, alongside those questions and any form submissions, for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
- Anything you type into a form — channel requests and contact messages, including an email address if you choose to give one.
- Standard web server logs (IP, page, time, user agent), kept short-term.
What we don't do
- No cookies for tracking. The only browser storage used is a local admin token on the admin page.
- No analytics or advertising trackers.
- No selling, renting or sharing of personal data.
Third parties
Questions and the relevant transcript excerpts are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate answers, under their API terms. The site is served from our own server. Transcripts are fetched from YouTube's public caption tracks.
Your data
Email us via the contact form to have your submissions or contact details deleted. Because questions aren't tied to an account, please include enough detail to identify them.
This is a small independent project, not a company with a legal department. If something here matters to you and isn't clear, ask and we'll answer plainly.
